After the AFI Capetown Fashion Week 2019 shows, BellaNaija Style asked a few BellaStylistas in South Africa about their favourite collections this season and here’s what they had to say.

Adeola Ariyo

Cape Town Fashion Week was all about representing cultures, with designers from Morocco, Ghana, South Africa and so on. It was amazing seeing different cultures incorporated into the shows and collections. My favorite collection was by Imprint ZA. He really brought in the cultural aspect of South Africa. His show was amazing and left everyone with goosebumps!

My favourite designer was Marianne Fassler and luckily she was one of the designers I walked for her. Her collections was very vibrant and had pieces with amazing colours! I felt so elegant in her clothes and wished they were mine. I can imagine being the belle of any ball in them.

My favorite collection during fashion week must be MAXHOSA. Everything about the collection, the fabric, prints, the textures, the models, the inspiration and the execution was amazing. Proudly African! My favorite designer, that’s hard because I love and respect most of these designers…. So can’t pick just one. Sorry!
My favorite individual look at AFICPTFW Had to be Warrick Gautier because all the models felt beautiful, sexy and luxurious in his collection. Also we all only wore one gorgeous garment which is every models dream!
