Talented photographer Kelechi Amadi-Obi recently organised a stunning photoshoot with eight beauty queens from around the world to show off the beauty of Lagos.
Shot on scene in the heart of Lekki, using the Lekki/Ikoyi toll bridge as a backdrop, the idea was to create something memorable as the ladies, who came as part of an experiential tour to experience the city and do some charity work were dressed in gorgeous dresses designed by Maryam Elisha of Rikaoto and art props; seats and sculptural pieces were provided by Nike Art Gallery.
According to Kelechi; “In order to do this, we needed to photograph these ladies against a monumental object or something that represents Lagos and the first thing that came to my mind was the Lekki/Ikoyi toll bridge. We wanted to make something memorable and we put all these together and they all came together nicely.”
