Gucci sure knows how to throw a garden party. Last weekend, the luxury house unveiled its latest fragrance Gucci Bloom in Lagos by throwing an opulent party with an illustrious group of contemporary figures in the fashion and beauty space.
Guests were catapulted from the uber stylish Federal Palace hotel and suites to a floral serene Gucci wonderland, with the serenading sound of an orchestra playing in the background.
The soft new feminine fragrance is the most expensive yet from Gucci’s line of scents. Drawing inspiration from “the authentic spirit of the women,” Alessandro Michele worked with master perfumer Alberto Morillas to create a white floral scent that would transport you to a colorful, gorgeous, and wild garden.
Gucci took inspiring women that have bloomed this year despite the odds for the one of a kind celebration of its new scent. The Gucci outfits some of the guests wore beautifully accented the lush floral arrangements as well as colourful birds in cages. Don’t be surprised to spot some guys in the mix, who came to support the ladies and perhaps scoop a bottle for the women in their lives.
There was also a crowd’s favourite performance by Ric Hassani as mini burgers were passed around.
The night continued cheerfully with fun games and gifts (gorgeous Gucci jewelry) were awarded to guests who participated and won. Everyone had a good time learning about the fragrance, celebrating women in bloom while sipping on delectable champagne. A fitting end to an unforgettably beautiful evening with Gucci.
