Looking to eat something tasty without having to stay in the kitchen too long? Then look no further than my Chicken Stir-fry dish. It’s fast, filling and fulfilling. This dish is simple to make at any time of the day, so have fun while you’re at it.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp schezuan sauce *optional*
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 knorr cubes
- 1 tbsp crushes red pepper
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 green pepper
- 1/2 red pepper
- 1/2 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
Method
- Clean and slice chicken breasts
- Chop bell peppers and onions
- Mince garlic cloves
- In a clean wok/frying pan, add sesame oil and fry onions for a few seconds. Then add in garlic and fry for a few more seconds
- Add in sliced chicken breasts and cook until no longer pink
- Add in seasoning cube and stir
- Add in chopped bell peppers, followed with black pepper and red chilli flakes. Stir
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce and schezuan. Mix and simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Mix water and cornstarch together, then pour into the wok. Simmer on low heat until thickened
