Lupita Nyong’o is in Cannes for the 71st Cannes Film Festival, as part of her duties as a Lancôme ambassador (L’Oreal, a title sponsor of the renown festival is also Lancôme’s parent company).
As is befitting she brought her A-Game in this stunning Dior Haute Couture white organza cage dress for the red carpet premiere of Sorry Angel, looking nothing short of (sorry we have to say it!) angelic.
Lupita often switches it up from super fashion forward and edgy, to ethereal and elegant – but no matter what she wears, the Kenyan star is always nothing short of breathtaking. She shared this black and white photo series on her Instagram, shot by Cannes collaborator Greg Williams.
The high neckline of the bodice emphasized the clean lines and modern feel, and the ivory organza leaf-trimmed skirt brought some much needed drama – it is Cannes afterall.
She finished off the look with peerless diamond drop earrings and two rings from title sponsor Chopard.
In the black and white photos we also spy some sunglasses that may look familiar; Toke Makinwa wore the same pair of Fendi sunglasses a few weeks ago.
