Nkwo, Zohi Taglit, UjuEstelo, Style Temple, are a few of the home-grown designers Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has been promoting through her Project #WearNigerian that kicked off last year. Today again, she shone the spotlight on a rising Nigerian brand.
We spotted Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie out and about in New York rocking a pretty midi dress from Lola Baej.
The long sleeved dress is from the brand’s debut collection Table of opposites and it features a vertical line of cutouts on the sleeves and at the middle of the dress.
Chimamanda styled the dress with a pair of leopard print pumps (which are so trendy right now!) and minimal earrings. She had her natural hair styled in a gorgeous updo by N Natural Hair Studio and a beauty look with bold red lipstick.
Although this can be a transitional look, we are getting serious work wear vibes from it! Show up to your next boardroom meeting in a stunning dress and trendy pumps – Chimamanda style!
