Nigerian brand Jason Porshe recently unveiled its Spring/Summer 2018 menswear collection in Cape Town at South Africa’s Menswear Week!
The collection titled “Wander Lust” features crisp and well-tailored suits in a designated colour palette ranging from a deep maroon to ivory.
According to the Creative Director Jason Samuel:
It is a collection inspired by my desire to travel and expand beyond countries in #Africa to the world at large, It’s been inspired by the motivation of the greats in the past, the likes of Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Fela Kuti and many much more. Their drive to succeed and make positive impacts & meaningful purpose even beyond their own generation, that drive to succeed has influenced my work, so every collection I try to put outcomes with a message.
It’s either triggered by my emotions or the need to pass a message, For Wander Lust, I’ve decided to have fun with bold colours and prints, a few vintage cuts with a modern twist which at the same time, sticks to the niche of the Jason Porshe Brand.
