In a few days we will be diving straight into 2019 and all the new trends and stylish looks that comes with the new year and while we wait for the new year, it is time to reflect on some of the most stylish moments of the year featuring one of our favorite fashionistas. This past year, we have had so many style stars who left us stunned as they steadily served looks but one style star stands out in particular as he only served killer looks on the Gram and streets this year but made our Lagos Fashion Week experience all the more enjoyable with his SS19 presentation and that is the ever stylish fashion designer and creative director Adebayo Oke-Lawal of the androgynous menswear brand Orange Culture.
This triple threat fashionista – creative director, fashion influencer and designer – easily stole our attention for most of 2018 with his unexpected but much appreciated and loved fashion choices, with every look outdoing the previous one – very Beyoncé of him. In 2018, like in every other year, Adebayo stayed away from the expected men’s fashion choices and rather walked down the road less traveled which left me (and many of you) with no option but to stan even harder. He imbibed daring colours into his wardrobe, fascinating silhouette and gave us a show with every outfit and look.
Choosing my favorites and the ones I would consider the most stylish was definitely hard because I had so much to choose from but here are what I consider Adebayo Oke-Lawal’s top ten most stylish looks from 2018.
