Temi Otedola of celebrated fashion blog JTOFashion.com took us on a stylish adventure in Lagos (as she always does) and there’s a super special treat for her followers!

The fashion blogger is queen of cool styling tips and that particular skill was fully utilised in her new #WearNigerian campaign. She shot with two supremely talented photographers: Vogue approved Stephen Tayo and celebrity favourite Mikey Oshai.

Styling various pieces by African designers from Maki Oh, Emmy Kasbit and FIA to Adele Dejak and WafflesNCream, mixed in with international designers like cult Danish jewelry brand Monies, Balenciaga and Jacquemus in her truly inimitable way, this editorial is a must see.

She took to her Instagram to expatiate on her plans for the #WearNigerian campaign and mentioned the possibility of a new feature

I hope you liked looking through all the latest #JTOTakesLagos content as much as I enjoyed shooting it! This might become an Instagram series, where I talk through how I styled a particular “JTO Takes” shoot. For Lagos I really wanted to showcase the best Nigeria has to offer (e.g. @orangeculture), and thus the #WearNigerian hashtag was started. I styled each look with print, colour and silhouette in mind, which @Stephen.tayo then paired with each location perfectly. For any aspiring bloggers – the location/setting of your photo is as important as your outfit. A good setting can take a meh outfit to aesthetic heaven. Also, it’s always a nice bonus to feature your favourite homegrown designers when travelling.
