The 2019 edition of Durban July promises to be as amazing as all the other editions of the famous Durban July. Dating all the way back to 1897, Durban July is an annual thoroughbred horse race held on the first Saturday of the month of July. The 2019 edition of South Africa’s premier horse racing event, which will take place on the 6th of July 2019 at Greyville, will have eighteen of the purest thoroughbreds will race to win R2,500,008.00 and is projected to be bigger and better than the previous editions.
Themed Stars of Africa, the event promises the best of fashion, racing and entertainment throughout the day including a full line up of local artists and DJs along with activations from numerous sponsors on the day.
