This “cover” is a gift from my team. And they know I love a yellow masthead. ? It’s been an incredible journey being at the helm, steering a new vision for the Glamour brand. Thank you to my talented, passionate team and Condé Nast for trusting me with this brand 2 years ago. I look forward to our last issues together. I reflected on my combined career in Print publishing, achievements thus far, considered why I started, and feel confident about my decision and the greater, diverse contribution I wish to make beyond Print. When Tyler Mitchell became the first Black photographer for shoot a Vogue cover he said, “This is as much about forming firsts as it is about leaving legacies.” Forming firsts, leaving legacies has been as important to me. Former magazine Editor-in-Chief Eva Chen says, “Pivot as many times as you need to.” I’m optimistic about the future, the African fashion and creative talent that’s yet to be discovered, nurtured and put on the world map, and look forward to my next chapter. And I will continue to create. Please continue to grow with me.
