Ghana’s biggest annual fashion event Glitz Africa Fashion Week is coming back with its 8th edition. Produced by Glitz Africa, the exciting, Pan-African celebrity, fashion and lifestyle brand, GAFW brings together esteemed industry players, fashion designers, entrepreneurs, influencers, students and enthusiasts to engage in an interactive weekend from 6th to 8th November 2020 at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre and Octagon rooftop.

Despite the hectic year across the globe, the Glitz Africa brand remains resolute in pushing the agenda of promoting the fashion industry in Ghana and Africa. With the annual Business of Fashion Seminar, Free Street side event, presentations, film shows and runway shows characterizing the 2020 Glitz Africa Fashion Week, Glitz Africa is committed to providing a holistic experience in fashion education, exposure and entertainment.

On Friday, November 6, there will be a runway show for streetwear designers, “Free Street” in partnership with Untamed Empire from 3 pm-5:30 pm.

Saturday will have the Business of Fashion Seminar and some runway shows at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre. There will also be a special photography session with Samsung, “Frame It” which is free to participate in. A sales exhibition will also take place on Saturday from 10 am till late.

On Sunday, the runway shows continue at the Octagon rooftop preceded by a fashion film and virtual presentations. GAFW20 promises to be an exciting experience for all participants – designers, guests and supporting partners alike. GAFW20 is supported by Beyond The Return, the Africa Fashion Foundation, Samsung and Malta Guinness.
