Diane Russet Showed Out in Two (2) Custom Fashion Statement Pieces at the 10th AMVCA

The 1oth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards wasn’t just a night of cinematic brilliance but a full-fledged fashion extravaganza showcasing the dazzling creativity of African designers and the bold sense of style of the continent’s biggest stars.

Reality TV star and movie producer — Diane Russet made her red carpet appearance in not one but two stunning custom dresses. For the first look, she made a show-stopping entrance in a breathtaking emerald green gown by Saiid Kobeisy, one of Lebanon’s freshest designers.

This dress exuded dramatic elegance, crafted from luxurious satin. The colour choice was impeccable, complimenting her skin tone and exuding an aura of sophistication. The bodice featured delicate drapings flowing into a dramatic ballgown silhouette, creating a sense of volume.

The addition of a slit gave it a trendy touch. Its train cascaded from the front, all the way to the back and her green pumps which boasted a brooch completed the monotone look. Diane paired the outfit with a chic bun plus tendrils on one side. Her makeup was soft and she rocked crystal accessories finishing the look with dainty earrings and a simple neckpiece from Swarovski.

For her second outfit, Diane Russet embraced a fanciful aesthetic in a custom illusion dress by Ann Usman. The outfit had a flattering pencil-cut silhouette featuring a sheer nude base overlayed by soft pink and green embellishments.

More impressive than the colour palette, was the exquisite arrangement of the embellishments. They weren’t scattered randomly, instead, they were meticulously laid into a captivating floral pattern around the bust with stalks extending downwards. Keep scrolling to check out the look:
