Beauty In The Motherland Africa’s premier beauty exhibition and conference, showcasing the diversity, creativity, and potential of the African beauty industry is set to open its doors to over 150 exhibitors and beauty businesses from the African continent, marking its second year with over 5000 registered visitors.
With such high demand, the event sponsored by Fidelity Bank, Eucerin, Lagos State Tourism and Nectar Beauty Hub, will be open to professionals in the Beauty Industry as well as the general public.
At the Beauty In The Motherland Creators’ Meetup and Press Conference hosted by the organizing committee, Founder/CEO of Nectar Beauty Hub, Beatrice Eneh explained,
Beauty In The Motherland will bring together incredible talents that need to be showcased and supported to scale even to global markets, but the enabling environment to enable them to thrive has not been created. Our beauty industry is not properly explored because there is no structure and inadequate data for the sector to drive growth. Adequate data is required for the industry to thrive.
Eneh encouraged the beauty sector to continue to create products for the local economy so it can be shared with the international beauty industry. She said,
We have to showcase the Beauty in Africa, Beauty In The Motherland to the world.
Also in attendance at the press conference, the Lagos State Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Toke Benson-Awoyinka who was happy about the upcoming event, said she appreciated the beauty industry and would continue to support its development for a long time to come.
Beauty in the Motherland is a big beauty conference, exhibition and awards that kickstarts on Tuesday 1 October to 3 October, 2024 at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos.
