Creative director of the women’s designer fashion label Anifa Mvuemba was presented with the Future of Fashion Award at the 2021 InStyle Awards. Widely known for the viral 3D fashion showcase her Hanifa brand debuted during the pandemic, Anifa has shown a great passion for redefining the rules when it comes to fashion.
The InStyle annual awards event is a celebration of fashion and entertainment, where notable contributors to fashion and entertainment are honored.

During her acceptance speech, she said
I design to make women feel like they don’t have to say a word when they walk in the room because everyone’s looking anyway. Every time I see someone wearing my designs, I love the confidence in how they walk, talk, and pose. That’s the Hanifa woman
The award was presented by Christain Louboutin, French-Egyptian fashion designer and brain behind the iconic red-soled shoes. Anifa in a thank you post on Instagram wrote;
Thank you @laurabrown99 , and the entire team at @instylemagazine for honoring me and my work. Laura, you are truly an Angel. The last 48 hours felt like a dream. Thank you Mr. Christian Louboutin for presenting me with the future of fashion award.
