The blazer trend has come a long way and is now a closet staple. Our #BellaStylistas prove to us that the traditional blazer can be spun every which way, so there’s a shape, hue, and style to suit everyone.
For street style enthusiasts, wearing a T-shirt with a blazer will instantly make you look more dressed up. Thinking of wearing your boyfriend’ s blazer? Make sure it’s oversized enough to add a masculine vibe and can be worn as a dress or a jacket. Some choose to wear double-breasted blazers with a high waist belt or waist bag over the blazer for the ultimate chic look.
For dapper gents, the blazer trend never left; plaid, striped, coloured the options are unlimited!
Fashion Highlight of the Week
Dumebi Iyamah who was one wedding guests at #BAAD2017 part 2 in South Africa, turned heads in her black jumpsuit from her brand’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection. It had a plunging neckline and one hand frill-detailed sash stopping on her midriff to flow down simply into wide leg pants. She completed her outfit with gold pumps and a black clutch.
