Over the last 5 years the way we think, talk about and approach fashion and beauty have changed significantly. And, certainly, post- COVID-19 and the explosion of the BLM Movement, it’s going to change even more.
Some pundits believe that Black & African creatives are poised to be represented in a much bigger way than they have been in the past – so how can we leverage the spotlight to build even more global awareness on the beauty of the diversity and unique individuality on the continent? We discussed these as well as the limitations holding back African creatives on and off the continent (especially female creatives) and what we can do to effect change.
Speakers: Powede Awujo, Mirian Njoh, Mamissa Mboob-Hunger, and Msendoo Mbachilin, hosted by Mary Edoro.
