As everything from bustiers to corset tops to corset leggings have been a micro trend since early this year (thanks Miuccia)-  sported by everyone from Rihanna to Bella and Gigi Hadid – we took it as a not so subtle sign that underwear as outerwear will also be making a comeback soon (not so far from the 90’s slip dresses that have been on every hotlist in the last three seasons tbh).

All our questions were put to rest when Bonang Matheba stepped out in this bustier and kimono look with matching corseted pants. The dark floral kimono paired with the shoe boots and form fitting pants definitely give us a Lara Croft warrior vibe and matching her hair to her sunglasses give the look a modern monochromatic take. You can try this look with an oversize blazer instead of a kimono for forward thinking proportion.

We have a feeling this look will take It girls by storm.
