For Elle India‘s September cover feature, the We Should All Be Feminists author looked ethereal showing off her jet black natural hair and glowy ski. For the shoot, her hair styled by Dionne Smith was pulled into a full thick afro puff – #NaturalHairGoals anyone?. Makeup pro Alex Babsky lightly emphasized her natural beauty with a single winged eyeliner under long lashes paired with vibrant red lipstick.

Inside, Chimamanda Adichie was interviewed by Elle India’s editor Supriya David about storytelling spirits, her shocking cooking habits and never-ending curiosity with people’s lives.
