Stunning in an elegant black & gold Weizdhurm Franklyn piece, Chioma Ikokwu, famously known as Chioma GoodHair, hosted celebrities, fans, fashionistas and influencers to an interesting celebration of fashion, philanthropy and inclusivity at the luxurious fashion show and official launch of her new business — Chioma’s Closet.

Proudly sponsored by the renowned champagne brand — Laurent Perrier, RJ4, Quacktails and One Charming Party, the new fashion line was curated in collaboration with notable fashion brands such as Weizdhurm Franklyn, Hertunba, WanniFuga, Amy Aghomi, Imad Eduso, DNA by Iconic Invanity, and LFJ Official.
These luxurious fashion items were sold at the event to support the philanthropic efforts of Chioma Ikokwu’s nonprofit organization — The Good Way Foundation with 50% of the proceeds from preloved items at the sale. Having self-funded the nonprofit for over 5 years with its most recent initiative being a breast and cervical cancer awareness outreach in Ikotun, Lagos.
The event, hosted by the eccentric Denrele Edun, was graced with glamorous celebrities and fashion influencers such as Erica Nlewedim, Tomike Adeoye, Dr Rommel Asagwara, Osas Ighodaro, Veekee James, Noble Igwe amongst many others. Keep scrolling to check out the stylish guests:
The Show
Stunning pieces from Chioma’s Closet were unveiled in an exquisite fashion show revealing carefully crafted, artistic and unique designs to celebrate the diversity of Nigerian women in various sizes.

With the guidance of Chioma’s Closet shopping attendants, guests were given the opportunity to shop from the plethora of luxurious fashion items.
The evening progressed into a time of excitement and celebration of yet another impressive initiative from the dynamic entrepreneur, Chioma Ikokwu, as food by Kewas Kitchen and Board Lagos with glasses of Laurent Perrier champagne and cocktails by Quacktails were raised to this fashion event with a heart.
During a fireside chat, Latasha Lagos had an insightful conversation with Chioma Ikokwu, Founder/CEO of Chioma’s Closet about the purpose of establishing the brand and its values spanning around elegance, luxury, philanthropy and compassion.
Chioma also expressed her appreciation of her team’s passion and relentless dedication to helping her achieve her goal of empowering the less privileged and encouraged the guests to support The Good Way Foundation by shopping the pieces in the collection as a contribution to society.
The conversation progressed into a fun giveaway competition awarding two guests with outfits.
