Nigerian British actress Cynthia Erivo was one of the panelists at the recently concluded Essence Festival’s Fashion House.

Moderated by journalist Lola Ogunaike, Erivo joined Hollywood actor and musician Quincy Brown in a session tagged “Hollywood Meets Fashion: The Collaboration Between The Silver Screen & The Runway” for a discussion on the importance of fashion in film. The Tony Award winner stressed that clothes are very vital in the way a character is perceived and also determines the mood of the character.
