No doubt, Cynthia Erivo was one of the best-dressed stars at the virtual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood event. The annual awards ceremony celebrates Black creatives for their contributions to Hollywood and global culture. This year’s theme, “Mastering Our Stories,” focused on the resiliency of Black women in Hollywood through the years—including during the unprecedented pandemic.
Cynthia who was honoured at the event looked ravishing in a bright orange custom made sequined Gucci gown that featured a statement heart-shaped cut-out. She paired the look with striking jewellery including cocktail rings from Mateo. The look was styled by the talented Jason Bolden. The star shared photos of her look to the event with the caption:
