Awards season is in full swing, beginning with the Golden Globes last weekend and the Critics’ Choice Awards 2020 yesterday.

The event which held in Santa Monica, California was attended by some of the biggest names in television and film and hosted by Taye Diggs.

From the pool of dreamy dresses and dapper tuxedos, Lupita Nyong’o and Cynthia Erivo were definitely among the best dressed of the evening in scene-stealing gowns.

Lupita’s red carpet style this season has become more evolved and last night she wore a flattering coffee brown floor-length dress custom made from Michael Kors. The look was paired with precious Pomellato jewelry.

Cynthia Erivo is constantly a red-carpet favourite. She sashayed in a gorgeous geometric print Fendi Fall/Winter 2019 Couture gown. She paired the look with dazzling David Webb earrings and cocktail rings.
