Nigerian-Sierra Leonean singer and songwriter Hadiza Blell, better known by her stage name Di’Ja, is the cover girl for Blanck Magazine‘s latest issue.
In this issue, Di’Ja talks about her latest 6 track- EP themed Aphropop, the place of women in music, finding her voice, motherhood, mental health and more.
For the feature, Di’Ja was styled by the talented Kanayo Ebi, the star wore a gorgeous orange tiered dress complemented by stunning henna designs on her fingers, statement accessories, a bold red lip and for her hairdo, she opted for braids with her natural hair. The entire look came together perfectly for the aesthetic of the cover.
She took to her Instagram to share the good news
It takes amazing women to breakthrough all the boundaries already created through pre-conceived notions. The fact that women are still succeeding even with the obstacles ahead should tell you what they are capable of without these obstacles
