New designers pop up everyday and quite a few of them are undoubtedly talented. We’ve had our eyes on quite a few up and coming brands and we will be highlighting some of the major on-the rise- brands you need to know in the Discover series.
On why she started her line
MAE Styling was started to create a platform for African high street fashion. It was created because most designers have a limited market, how can we create a platform where designers sell to a larger market and also where everyday girls can find a range of amazing designs from Nigerian designers.
On her favourite influencer or celebrities to work with
We’ve worked with Tomike Alayande and Amanda Dara and they were both great, their easy-going personalities reflect the girl MAE Styling is for.
On our wish list of celebrities we will love to work with, we have Afua Osei, Yvonne Nelson, Jemima Osunde because they represent the girl we are made for.
Who is the MAE Styling customer?
The MAE Styling woman is classy and cares about how she looks, she juggles things and moves from a meeting in the morning to a date in the evening and she balances life as simply as a strut in her heels.
On where she gets style inspiration
Inspiration comes from the woman, what she aspires to, what she wants to look like, what she’ll be comfortable in, what impressions she wants to leave.

What do you believe should be the foundation of every woman’s wardrobe?
In her wardrobe, every woman should have something black, something vintage, and something amazing for every other day of the year.
