New designers pop up everyday and quite a few of them are undoubtedly talented. We’ve had our eyes on quite a few up and coming brands and we will be highlighting some of the major on-the rise- brands you need to know in the Discover series.
I started making jewellery for myself, then made some jewellery for the Ladunni Lambo SS18 lookbook, and a few people asked if I’d thought of selling, so here we are. I thoroughly enjoy working with my hands, and creating and designing new pieces.

Who is the Ōchá Jewellery woman?
I think the epitome of the Ōchá Jewellery woman would be Solange. Someone who is influenced by, and likes to wear art. Someone who isn’t afraid to take risks.

All over the place! Streetstyle and art are some of my favourite sources though.
How would you describe your brand?
Minimalist, Handcrafted, Nigerian.
What do you believe should be the foundation of every woman’s wardrobe?
You can never go wrong with classic pieces; a simple white shirt, tailored trousers, etc. It makes it easy to build from there.
