The 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show held in New York on Thursday night, taking over Pier 94 with its supermodels and musical guests.
Every year, the Victoria’s Secret brand picks a number of top models as well as some new faces to walk the runway at the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show – an event filled with glitter and glamour as models strut in new season lingerie from the brand. The models who walked this year were confirmed earlier in September.
The fashion show included a fully fleshed-out section of VS Pink apparel and a capsule collection from Mary Katrantzou. Although only 7 African models walked the 2018 show, there were about 22 black models on the runway, it is worth celebrating as these beautiful women of colour walked for one of the most celebrated fashion shows in the world.
