Describe your style in 3 words.
Colourful, sophisticated and edgy
Your style icons? One living, one dead.
The Spanish influencer Maria Bernad and of course Princess Diana.
Do you think your hometown has a style and do you share it?
Yes, I am born and raised in Oslo, so the style here is very Scandi chic, which I do think I have adopted, but with my own personal twist.
Who’s the most stylish woman you’ve seen and why?
As I previously mentioned I’m a big fan of Bernad. I love the way she mixed prints and colours, and her style is a mix between the feminine and the masculine.
What do you buy in bulk?
Socks and tights! I will never get enough.
If you could only wear one designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?
Probably the Scandinavian brand, Acne Studios.
Favourite place to shop?
For high street coups I love Mango, Zara and & Other Stories.
Favourite African designer
I’m unfortunately not that familiar with African designers. Probably my own fault, as I have not done any research on African designers.
Memorable fashion moment?
Attending Oslo Runway (Oslo Fashion Week in 2017). I was new in the game and it was all so exciting and weird at the same time.
What would you never wear?
Hot-pants and moon-boots!
What is your wardrobe MVP?
Blazers! They will always save your outfit!
When and why did you first decide to start blogging?
I started to blog in the summer of 2016. I don’t know why I started. Perhaps it was the longing of expressing my creative side!
How often will you wear a favourite piece in one season?
As often as I can. I’m not the type of person that thinks that I can only wear an outfit once.
Do you have rules for how often you can repeat an outfit?
Nope, I will wear it until I get tired of it!
Are you a wardrobe editor or builder?
Over the past years I’ve been an wardrobe editor, but I want to switch it up and become a wardrobe builder. I only want to buy pieces I can see myself wearing in the next 5 years.
What kind of aesthetic did you want to convey on your site?
Clean, minimalistic and modern
Trademark accessory?
I always wear my rings from the Danish designer Carré, and my bracelet from Pandora. I recently bought a pair of earrings from APM Monaco, which I adore.
What made you feel like you were “making it” as a blogger?
Being re-posted on Instagram, being requested for interviews, and also questions from my readers and followers.
Earliest style inspiration
When I grew up I always thought that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were so cool, and they still are today!
Biggest blogger achievement to date
Working with ELLE UK during Paris Fashion Week and being photographed during Fashion Week by Vogue and Elle, and also featuring in the Norwegian on-print lifestyle magazine.
What are you buying this season to update your closet?
I’m currently on the hunt for a green leather coat! That’s the only thing I’m buying.
What’s the most expensive thing you own to date
A vintage Chanel 2.55 bag that I never use.
If you could only wear one piece of jewelry what would it be?
Probably earrings! I never go out without earrings. I do feel that they’re a part of the outfit.
Beauty saviour?
I’m a skincare monster so I do have several: REN Evercalm, Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Eyecream, Kiehl’s Glow Formula, Glo Skincare C-vitamin drops, Biotherm Aquasource Serum, Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Serum and Filorga Supreme Regenerating Lotion
Weekday Outfit go-to
Pants or jeans, wool sweater, blazer and a lot of jewelleries.
Weekend Outfit go-to
Depends on what I’m doing, but if I’m only hanging at home I will wear my PJs 24/7, haha!
Favourite colour combination?
Lilac and orange is beautiful!
Fashion faux pas?
Socks in Ballerina shoes or sandals
How long does it take you to get ready in the mornings or in the evenings?
Just make-up? About 20-30 min, but if I’m going to an event probably 45 min. If you include getting dressed I will probably use a solid hour.
How often do you repeat outfits or pieces?
I don’t know how often, but If I like an outfit I don’t have anything against repeating it. I may switch it up a bit though. Use different accessories or do my hair in another style.
