‘Sisterhood and Solidarity: An Ode to High School and Coming of Age,’ is a new fashion film released by Cape Town-based intimates brand, Koeksuster. The Thea Small directed piece, takes a nostalgic look back on high school and what that experience could have been, and should have been.
According to Glamour SA, Founder of Koeksuster, Marli Grobbelaar felt that it was important to centre the film around four girls who reclaim and redefine this space. And Thea Small said: “We wanted to create a dreamy hyper-feminine, space in which to explore the theme of sisterhood.”
