Somali-American supermodel Halima Aden has continued to shatter ceilings and isn’t stopping anytime soon. She was recently featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit‘s 60th-anniversary issue with Tyra Banks, Chrissy Teigen, and Martha Stewart amongst other beautiful trailblazers, making her the only Hijabi to grace the cover.

Recall that in 2019, Halima made history as the first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model to wear a hijab and burkini suit. The brand said this when announcing the cover of this issue on Instagram:
