Budding media personality and content creator Eniafe Momodu held his very first brunch titled ‘The New World Order’ an event created to foster connections and networks in the creative community.
As Momodu made clear, “Thank you to all my amazing guests at the first ever New World Order Brunch! It was a pleasure hosting so many bright, young and talented content creators from across music, fashion, art and entertainment. We had an inspiring talk featuring fashion panelist @theorangenerd – founder of @orangecultureng – and media panelist @stephaniecoker, where we discussed the importance of collaboration, making connections, overcoming self-doubt as a creative, sexism & double standards in the entertainment industry, depression and mental health, the perceived privileges of “westernness” and more topics that concern the future of Nigeria’s creative industry.”
Notable guests, including Richard Mofe-Damijo, panelists Adebayo Oke-Lawal, Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun and Whitney Madueke, stopped in to engage and show their support.
Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun went on to say ‘I had such an amazing afternoon talking to young Nigerian creatives about the entertainment industry. One of my main focuses this year is to discuss more of the unseen challenges in the industry, so we can create a better working environment for those coming up. Speaking with aspiring creatives is always a reminder of how important it is a public figure to present a balanced perception of the different sides of fame. Well done Eniafe Momodu for putting on this event’
The tasteful event was set up at the exclusive 12 Temple Lounge in Ikoyi. Check out all the photos below.
