Nigeria brand Jon Pelumi known for its innovative designs, distinctive aesthetic ethos, and crafting products that are both refined and striking has released a new collection called “All Things Black and Beautiful“. This collection blends music and style, featuring meticulously crafted womenswear and menswear in sleek black tones. It showcases a fusion of crepe, zibeline silk, and traditional hand-woven aso oke fabric from Nigeria.
According to JonPelumi, he says
This collection brings together thoughtfulness, fine tailoring, minimalism and a situation to stand out wherever you are with the black concept of having light shine out of it. You will see details like the side panel, pleats just talking about form, structure, and proportions in different areas. This collection also enabled us to work on our favourite fabrics such as crepe which gave us that flowy feel to handwoven fabrics called ‘Aso-oke’ in the western part of Nigeria.
