The holidays were packed with fun-filled activities; get-togethers, cook-outs and of course shopping parties. It was at the peak of the festivities that Kanayo Ebi launched The Kach It Project in Lagos, the third and final installment its series of pop-up events for the year, in association with Pop Up Africa.
The Celebrity Fashion Stylist whose clients include the likes of Angela and Vanessa Simmons hosted fashion’s finest in Victoria Island’s new and atmospheric venue, Ember Creek – Landmark Towers.
Following two successful pop-up launch events in London and New York this year, The Lagos edition featured a collection of fashion-forward and groundbreaking designers and brands from ready-to-wear to Haute Couture clothing and accessories, inspired by African and contemporary influences, in an exclusive one-day shopping and lifestyle experience.
From the United Kingdom, to Nigeria a range of indigenous brands displayed their products for sale including 10 Bows Boutique, Abebi By Tan, Amarelis, Baconery, Di’Ja, Designers Club Lagos, Erilyn by Temitope, FIA, Kiki Kamanu, LRP Shades, and Woen ILGA (Benin), plus a live customized art by Dricky, and food and drink by Sydney’s Cuisine, D’Waffle Hub and Sweet Kiwi Yoghurt.
Attendees also enjoyed an exclusive two-hour panel discussion and brunch exploring the road to success with celebrity stylists Kanayo Ebi and Ade Samuel, on-air personality Toke Makinwa, fashion and travel blogger Fisayo Longe, creative visionary Prince Aday and PR guru Bukky Karibi-Whyte in an intimate conference titled Kach Your Dream. Also in attendance was Osas Ighodaro-Ajibabe and DJ Cuppy.
