Lagos Fashion Week will return for Woven Threads IV from 21st – 23rd April 2023. This year, for its first season, the Woven Threads showcase will give prominence to African design principles and their intrinsic circularity.
Woven Threads IV will present a hybrid showcase of physical and digital elements that best explore the theme of “standing the test of time” and how it speaks to the versatility of fashion in Africa.
Using tangible aspects that foster community interaction with the Woven Threads themes, this digital event will harness technology to speak to the essence of fashion in Africa.
Woven Threads will exhibit the work of designers trying to close the product life-cycle, emphasizing traditional design processes, waste, and recycling.
