Lisa Folawiyo’s eclectic – downright joyful style needs no introduction, and as usual she served us another piping hot look over on her Instagram. The venerated designer and BellaStylista is always at the forefront of the industry, with both her cutting edge, eponymous label and her irrepressibly authentic personal style.
In a day and age where a new budget, brand strategy or stylist dictates what is worn and when, it’s refreshing how Lisa continues to delight and surprise us with her looks. And whilst she often wears high end apparel and accessories, her style remains refined, if a little quirky without straying into that much dreaded, almost obnoxious, conspicuous consumption ‘trendy but not stylish’ trap many a celebrity has fallen into.
With this look, our favourite fashionista opted for a black iteration of a popular Lisa Folawiyo Studio blouse, paired with a print mini skirt, a Louis Vuitton Petite Malle box clutch and Calvin Klein Camelle heels.
She finished off the look with statement earrings, red lipstick and her signature braids, this time in a blonde dip-dye ombré .
