Vlisco&co held an eventful show last night with the fashion crowd out en masse to celebrate and Stephanie Coker-Aderinokun was on our raider of must-see looks.
This year, Vlisco&co travelled to Nigeria’s culturally rich Igbo land with its creative Nigerian network to deeply research the ethnic group and its relation with their fabrics. The result of this is a unified visual narrative that mixes a contemporary own story and a research process, thereby exploring the old and the new Igbo culture and the traditions in relations with Vlisco fabrics.
Stephanie was the perfect mix of chic, comfortable and super stylish as she wore a Tokyo James metallic set from the brand’s recently unveiled Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Of course, this BellaStylista had to stick to the Igbo theme, hence she incorporated a red Igbo cap to her outfit. A red Igbo cap is a symbol of authority, it signifies strength and power.
She finished off the look with a pair of gold sandals and just enough sass to make everyone at the event do a double take.
