It seems in 2019 Lupita Nyong’o is taking booked and busy to a whole new level. After starring in one of the biggest movies of 2018 last year, the Black Panther actress has been on a mission to dominate the box office and showing off her range as an actress. With just about three months into 2019, the actress is not giving us time to breathe as she is starring in two new horror movies – Little Monsters and Jordan Peele’s Us – which premiered over the weekend at the SXSW Festival at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, Texas.
While attending the festival, Lupita reminded us that her style star status has not been compromised by wowing us more than once during the festival especially with her outfit for the premiere of Us.
For the premiere of Us, the Oscar-winning actress went all the way with a white power suit from Honayda’s SS19 collection which had cut-outs on both sides and an uneven tulle on the shoulder which gave it a very high fashion effect. She also went with very futuristic makeup courtesy of her very talented makeup artist Nick Barose and the most interesting part of this ensemble has to be the Snoop Dogg inspired crown of duck bills she had on.
The look overall, like all of Lupita’s movie roles, was very iconic.
