For his latest collection, Nathan Cole intentionally moves away from regular menswear.
Although the modern day designer still draws inspiration from traditional styles using embroidery and wrist cuffs, the mood-lifting prints and gauzy pastels with trompe l’oeil panels and mesh lace detailing on boxy tunic and trouser sets will appeal to uber-stylish senses.
It seems the designer’s current mood is all about embracing positivity. According to him, after suffering a state of depression, he grew inspired to develop garments that are both vibrant and optimistic.
The wet 2018 collection titled shadow and persona was designed with the desire to create a wardrobe that caters to men of style, both old and new-fashioned. Bringing together traditional styles with modern colours like orange, cyan, and lavender in a truly genius way.
