When going for a red carpet event, it can be tempting to rock full-on makeup; bright red lips and dramatic eyelashes. However, it’s 2018 and showing off skin is totally in!
Media girl Osas Ighodaro Ajibade did everything right on Friday, she won our hearts at the Soundcity MVP Awards last night with her gorgeous pink ensemble. Not only that, she went with subtle beauty choices for the night.
The “no makeup” look has been around for some time but we’ll admit it’s having a moment all over again.
It’s time to put down the contour kits, thick brushes, and total transformation wands and go for a glowing finish on the skin rather than a total caked facebeat.
Our girl Osas was dolled up in-trend with a slick dewy makeup by Doranne Beauty. Her brows were drawn in a fully natural way with the excesses neatly concealed while her eyes were simply lined with kohl and a cinnamon brown eyeshadow lightly dusted around to create definition.
For her lips, she had a soft beige lipstick lined with light brown. Her look was finished off with a misty cream colour to highlight her cheekbones as close to her natural “blush” as possible.
