Patrickslim, recognised as the most creative male designer at the recently concluded Nigerian Student Fashion and Design Week (NSFDW), has unveiled his much-anticipated Spring-Summer 2025/2026 ready-to-wear collection, titled Asọ Ọdún.

Creative Director, Segun Adesokan, shares the inspiration behind the collection:

Asọ dún draws from my cherished childhood memories of wearing lace outfits during festive seasons and ceremonies. In Yoruba culture, Lace represents elegance, class, and the artistry of custom tailoring.

Patrickslim breathes new life into this iconic fabric with this collection, reimagining it with vibrant patterns, bold silhouettes, and rich, dynamic colours. The result is a stunning blend of tradition and modernity that pays homage to the cultural heritage of Yoruba lace while reinterpreting its timeless role in contemporary fashion.

Through Asọ dún, we aim to celebrate the authenticity and enduring cultural significance of lace, honouring its legacy while making it accessible and relevant for the modern wearer

Segun Adesokan.
