Sai Sankoh is one of our faves who has gradually cemented herself as a style icon with high taste in monochromatic looks and glamorous ensembles and now, the Sierra Leonean BellaStylista has launched her eponymous womenswear line, Sai Sankoh.
The newly minted designer worked on this collection for two years and now we can finally see the result! According to the press release Sai is inspired by the glamour of the old Hollywood era, her fascination with vintage and unique pieces also led her into launching a clothing line.
“I love accentuating the curves in a woman and adding glamour to something as simple as a basic black dress,” said Sai. “After two years of traveling to exotic destinations and sourcing the finest silks and furs, I decided it was time to launch my own line.”

Focusing on the intricate details of design to blend vintage fashion with contemporary trends – the brand draws inspiration from Sai’s own continent — Africa — and then is grounded by some of her favourite fashion pieces rediscovered inside her own closet.
She wanted to create couture-inspired styles with good quality fabrics and a precise attention to detail, tailored for the everyday woman and delivered at an affordable price.
“After six years of writing about celebrity style, styling clients, and reviewing red carpet fashion, I wanted to create my own world,” Sai said.
