An Eye for the Classics
Reinforcing classic beauty mores, a subtle cat-eye reminiscent of a 50’s femme fatale was featured in some designer shows, showcased with a slightly glossy lid and flawless skin- this slightly elevated take on a classic look will be all over our street style feeds in the next few months.

Natural Textures Allowed
As more women embrace their natural textures worldwide, coupled with the international rise of young African stars like Mayowa Nicholas, Elizabeth Ayodele and Imaan Hammam; we expect to see even more natural styling on the global runways- so consider this as less of a trend and more of a prediction of the new normal.
Lip Service
New season lip tones will delve for the dramatic with a moody purple almost stealing the show at the ATCL Collective group show and a bright and beautiful pillarbox red at Tiffany Amber inspired a fashionable double-take.

Brilliant Headgear
With glitter being a predominant theme on global runways, it was no surprise that the trend would be taken a bit further with super fun hair accessories.
All That Glitters
One of the most arresting looks to glide down the runway was this all-over glitter look – and whilst it may have only the bravest beauty aficionados trying out the look in its entirety, this is one that’s easily emulated in a more toned down fashion. Opt for a swipe of glitter on your lids, or a wash on your lips and you are good to go! Or for the really glitter averse – add just a touch either in the centre of the lid, the inner corners of the eye or on your lower lash line for a double dose of glam – it gives a brightening effect AND taps into the trend.

Parting Ways
Severe side parts are all the rage, and this soft version by Good Hair Ltd is a modern take on Old Hollywood Veronica Lake. We love that this look will translate in varying versions- think lengths- from bobs to ultra long locks, and styles- soft waves, slicked back updos and sophisticated summer curls.
