Published international hairstylist and the director of Ceezys Styling, Royce Samuel is out with another attention-grabbing editorial. The celebrity stylist has a penchant for merging art and hair – creating looks that are always outstanding. This new campaign tagged “Hairstacy” showcases a modern twist to traditional hairstyles.
According to Royce:
I created these hairstyles with the mindset of portraying the African cultured hairstyles in a contemporary and avant-garde manner, so in that form, I made use of braids, kinky textured extensions and regular African textured hair to create the hairstyles in these images.
With the help of the amazing team members he gathered; photographer Joko of Poshclick Portraiture, who totally understands the concept, and decided to twist a traditional and contemporary style of photography to achieve the perfect images fitting to the theme.
The makeup artist, Thelma of Beauty by Bellamare followed directions of the hairstyles and went really subtle on the makeup to the entire look which came out extraordinary and amazing on the models Rukky, Natasha, and Okwukwe.
