Last night was all about honouring artists and music in pop culture at the 2018 MTV EMAs. Top acts in the music industry from all over the world came together to celebrate and of course show off stunning looks on the red carpet at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Bilbao, Spain.
Among the best-dressed stars of the night was our very own BellaStylista, Tiwa Savage who totally won, on and off the red carpet. The Lova Lova crooner was nominated in the “Best African Act” category alongside Davido(Nigeria), Distruction Boyz (South Africa), Fally Ipupa (DRC), Nyanshinski (Kenya) and Shekinah (South Africa).
She looked effortlessly chic as she arrived wearing the midnight jacquard mini dress from Self Portrait.
The flirty length and off the shoulder style of the dress perfectly fit her slim figure and accentuated her curves. She made the look an instant hit by adding simple perspex mules and statement vintage earrings.
She took her glam team along; Rasheeda of OTS Beauty (Makeup) and Chyna Bee (Hair), and they put together a beauty look that every babe can appreciate – fan or not. A cropped hairstyle with slick finger waves at the edges complimented subtly contoured cheeks, thick-lined eyes with dramatic lashes, and soft natural lips.
She took home with her not just the African Act award but numerous compliments for her pared-down but still glamourous ensemble!
