Toni Tones is definitely a “gown and gala” kind of woman, and some of her most memorable red carpet moments have been with designer and friend Yemi Shoyemi. So of course, when we heard her go-to designer was on the job, we’ve been waiting with bated breath to see what the dream team would come up with.
And as usual – they did not disappoint.
The actress wore a strapless ballgown from Yemi Shoyemi. This time in an arresting fire-engine red hue, featuring hand beaded lace and feathers on the bodice, and a slit in the skirt of the dress. The French lace and silk mikado confection is a hero statement of Yemi Shoyemi’s mastery.
We also love how her classic updo gives the look a touch of finesse.
Red lips, matte makeup and statement studs completed her look.
