Any listing of talented creative powerhouses in Nigeria would not be complete without a mention of singer, philanthropist and photographer TY Bello. TY Bello has managed to move between several industries and each time dominated them – be it as a singer, as a songwriter or as a photographer. The multifaceted creative juggernaut recently reminded us why she is one of Nigeria’s top photographers in a series of photographs she released on Instagram as she tested the new Canon EOS R camera.
Working with several models and muses, including Genevieve Magazine’s Ifeoma Odogwu; TY Bello managed to show off the photography beast that is the new Canon EOS R camera while retaining her distinct touch that makes her work stand out from the crowd – such as the composition of the photo, how the light plays with the subject being photographed and the slight drama in the finished work that doesn’t look forced in anyway.

It was awesome test shooting with the #canoneosr camera .. incredible machine .. this camera is the future of canon for sure .. the precision of the lenses .. the incredible new way to focus .. love it love it love it !! The real stars are these three ladies here who turned up in no time as we worked through the night .. you are magic @miramanuell @hyperfashun @mojisolaaa..@hyperfashun for the out of this world wardrobe and my fairy God mother aunty Yewande Amusan who just happened to have these amazing adire , boots and hat at the back of her car ..God sent you .. and of course @omabeautie for the amazing makeup ..
