Hollywood stars hit the red carpet for the 72nd Annual Tony Awards last night.
The show, which honoured the best of Broadway, held at Radio City Music Hall in New York and brought glitz and glam from theatre’s most stylish celebrities.
While the venue sparkled with jewels and dazzled with fringe, two African onscreen divas stole the night in their head-turning ensembles.
Uzo Aduba was stunning in a custom-made Cristina Ottaviano halter-neck dress while her rich melanin radiated against the mustard yellow shade. She accessorised with a Lorraine Schwartz emerald and diamond chandelier earrings set in yellow gold.
Uzo wore thin-strap gold Jimmy Choo sandals and finished off the look with a cute double bun hairstyle and soft makeup.
Actress and singer Cynthia Erivo was flirty in a black fringe-detail 1973 New York Vintage dress. The look was complemented by Fred Leighton jewellery and a Judith Leiber clutch.
Her makeup was bold; smoky eyes and a maroon lipstick.
