Lagos Fashion Week x Woven Threads III concluded over the weekend with its adaptation of a hybrid format that featured a physical installation, interactive video presentations, Fashion Business Series Panels, live studio tours, digital salons, workshops, fashion films and the blockchain-enabled Lagos Fashion Week SwapShop.
Participating designers included NKWO, IAMISIGO, Shem Paronelli, Emmy Kasbit, Maliko, Pepperrow, TJWHO, the Green Access 2021 cohort (FIA, Cute-Saint, Desiree Iyama, Kadiju, Lohije), and Eki Kere (formerly House of Ekii) Alexa Schempers (Founder, Rethread), Abigail Ajobi, Lila Bare, Kadiata Diallo (Founder, Niuku), Lagos Space Programme and Tolu Coker. So many highlights and takeaways from the three days.
As the curtain closes on a successful edition of Woven Threads III, Lagos Fashion Week has announced its partnership with Istituto Marangoni to launch three significant partnership opportunities for students aspiring to join programmes, starting in Dubai in 2022/2023.
Istituto Marangoni is an Italian school of fashion and design whose mission to empower talent in fashion, art and design is based on achieving the highest academic standards with modern, results-oriented curricula.
This scholarship project offers students the opportunity to receive:
- Two scholarships consisting of a 50% deduction on the tuition fee for any of the Undergraduate programmes (or Foundation Year) are available at the Istituto Marangoni Dubai School, starting in September 2022. Important: for students who will attend the Foundation Course, the scholarship amount granted will be distributed between the Foundation Year and the first year of the three-year Programme.
- One scholarship consisting of a 100% deduction on any Short Course available at the Istituto Marangoni Dubai School in the Academic Year 2022-2023
